Each year, Hi-Mar Striper Club runs a number of fund raising events that encompass a flea market and fishing tournaments, money raised by these efforts go to assist various groups whose prime directive is to encourage marine conservation awareness.  The scope of activities range from providing educational fishing trips for youth groups aboard local party boats with member participation to promote the need for an improved fishery management.   In addition, Hi-Mar recognize the contribution that members of our armed services have made in order to preserve our freedom.  Each summer, in partnership with veteran’s organizations, Hi-Mar sponsors “A Day of Giving Back On the Water” where members along with service men and women enjoy a day of fishing as a thank you for their efforts and appreciation of their sacrifice.  Hi-Mar Striper Club members are dedicated to the preservation and physical well being that is achieved by having a healthy marine habitat and awareness of what Nature can teach us.
