To all CF Council members,
There has been no additional volunteers since the last time I sent out an update on Dec.15
There is still many opened time slots that will leave our booth totally unmanned. This will effect our relationship with the organizers for future shows.
If it’s at all possible for any of the listed volunteers to extend their time it will be greatly appreciated. I have requested exhibitor badges for all listed to date. Any new volunteers will be reimbursed the admission fee upon completion of their time slot.
Thank you,
Jerry

Start 2012 with Your Eyes on the Coast
Join us for a bracing walk on the winter beach and a really good time.
The New Year’s Day Beach Walk was started in the 1970s by the Society’s long-time leader, Dery Bennett. We are continuing that tradition in memory of Dery’s love for the coast and his many years of fighting to protect and preserve it.
These walks are free and open to the public but donations are welcome to help defray costs. They go rain or shine; however, in the event of an extreme weather event, we will post a notice at www.littoralsociety.org by 7 AM the day of the walk.
New Jersey: Sandy Hook – 11 am
We’ll gather at Society Heqdquarters at 18 Hartshorne Drive, Highlands, NJ 07732, and hike to the end of the Hook. After the walk, we’ll return to Building 18 for hotdogs, hot cocoa and cider, and desserts. Please bring a dessert to share–finger foods only, please. No cutlery will be provided. For information, phone 732-291-0055. For maps and directions, go to www.littoralsociety.org/contact_us.aspx
New York City: Ft. Tilden in Rockaway – 11 am
We’ll meet at Building 1. After the walk, join us for free champaign and cookies. Please contact Don at 718-318-9344 or donreipe@gmail.com to give us a headcount and to get directions.
